Ben Elisha

Ben Elisha was born in Jerusalem in 1945 and migrated to Australia in the early 1950’s. Settling in Melbourne Elisha studied Medicine and graduated in 1969. In parallel to his career in medicine Elisha developed his practice as an artist and since his first exhibition in Melbourne in 1977 has consistently exhibited to the present day. Elisha’s most recent accolade was to be short listed in the Blake Prize in 2009.
