Here for a Day continues on from Stuart’s first Kick Gallery exhibition, icon i.d., with a new suite of works that once again allow us to peer into, what have been often described as, ‘micro–scenes’. Each of these meticulously crafted works are imbued with a sense that an iconic moment has been captured in time. Illustrating landscapes colonised by conflicting imagery, Stuart aims to create a sense of dislocation and displacement, an inevitable consequence of the human imprint.
