Jock Langslow was introduced to stone masonry and stone carving in the early 1990’s whilst living in Wales working on the restoration of a manor house. With an innate understanding of visual art, it was during this time that he forged his on-going engagement with stone as a medium for visual expression. Although sculpture in stone is now Langslow's focus in his artistic practice, he has a continued interest and involvement in traditional stonemasonry to the present day.
