Time and Tide
Time and Tide is an exhibition of new works by Alison Binks. In this latest series Binks continues to create works that reflect the artist’s intrigue with the transient nature of water as well as the timeless affinity that people have to the sea or rivers. Binks’ sublime paintings allow the viewer to enter the meditative state that occurs in watching a wave or stream constantly move and change, break and repair, stay still and reflect a clarity, to only then have that swept away by the latest movement of this elemental force.
